In remote villages in the western part of Hunan Province, China, many years ago the Miao women used to hand stitch their traditional Miao patterns using hand dyed silk threads on cotton. This exquisite fabric is now being recycled from old costumes to be cherished once again in Shenaini’s?Lotus Collection. Miao women in our home factory now carefully select and match these strips of Lotus Cloth and assemble them into our limited edition selection of handbags, totes and accessories. Each piece is a treasured work of ART.
